I'm using the Mplay to compare renders, but for optimizing speed, I would like to see the total rendering time per frame. Am I missing something?

Turn the verbose setting to 1 in the statistics tab on the mantra node, and the houdini console will pop up with rendertimes/ram usage, that sort of thing.

You could also open a Render Scheduler pane and click off the “clear completed jobs” toggle at the bottom. It will then show a history of all your past render times.

In H12 (Apprentice, Windows) when I render to Mplay, or render a sequence to disk straight from the Mantra node, the console will not pop-up. This only works when I first render from the Render View pane.

Any ideas how to get the console to be invoked using the other methods of rendering, without having to work through the Render View?
