Apologies if this has been raised before, but has anyone has experience of trying to add a Pyro FX (in my case Flames, from the toolbar) to an object that has previously been activated as an RDB Object?
The simulation seems to work for a bit, you re-point the ‘resize_container’ DOP to track your object, and all looks fine, you get flames, smoke and a tracking re-sizing sim box. Then, at some random point ( usually during a render ) the tracking will stop calculating, the moving object will leave the tracking box, or the box will completely disappear and you get an error in your DOP network saying ‘cooked in immediate mode, cached results incorrect’.
Anyone know what this means, or how to fix it ?
Restarting the file makes no difference, the error persists..
Many thanks

It sounds like the box has left the container. The smoke/pyro container that is.
Try setting the Resize DOP node to have no bounds to allow the container to grow to track the object. Either that or resize the initial smoke container to contain the rbd object from beginning to end.

There's at least one school like the old school!
