Using mplay from 6.1.109 …

when I change the settings (specifically the Frame Rate), it is not saved. Is this a problem amd/or where does it save the settings?

try this, go to your settings menu and choose Profiles.

In the profile window you'll see that there is a field called “command line”.

by entering options in this field, and clicking save, you can save these options as preferences.

type mplay - for a full list of options.

As an example, if you want to set your frame rate to 24 fps type the following in the command line field:

-r 24
