Hi
I want to remove the parts of some polylines that are enclosed inside a box. But the cookie SOP apparently only works with faces.
The polylines don't get divided, instead they disappear once their center is inside the box.
Is this the expected behavior? And is there a workaround?

Thank You

One of the simple way is to use polywire SOP with small radius and fuse final result !
check attached project

Oh man, I long for the day that someone figures out how to fix Cookie, but this one's just sad, because operating on polygon lines should be the second-simplest case, after operating on disconnected points, which also don't seem to be supported. Unlike with closed polygons, there'd be no complicated reconnection needed after, or handling of holes, etc. Someday…
Writing code for fun and profit since... 2005? Wow, I'm getting old.

What about convert it to the NURBS, Curvesect SOP and then convert it back?
Connection between points is maintained.

I modified Joker386's file, look at it.
