Hi

I want to create a scene where a car crashes with a tree and I am not sure on how to simulate the leaves of the tree when falling.

I thought about cloth but now I know it is not the right option, with to many leaves it takes forever to even give me a sign of something.

I do not want to use bones or blends, I really want a sim !!

Any idea?

Thank you

I think Spring Sop is the way to go for fast (and not sophisticated) simulations.

The help example files can be a good help. I put them in a single hip file in case you have trouble finding them.

Deforming geometry in the first input, collision objects in the second input.
Adjust the spring constant if you dont want a lot of stretch.

Good luck
