He,
Alembic archives don't have any geometry class, they are like a subnet, so there is not bounding box data attached to them. Is there a way to get the bounding box of all the alembics nested in an alembic archive?
Ta,
Nick

hi!
import the alembic in SOPs, switch to Load as Houdini geo, and append a bound SOP.

Hey,
This is for lighting, so we can't use sops, the scene will have crawl. Has to be an alembic archive.
I need to query ONLY the alembic archive, not the alembic nodes it creates. Must be a way
How will the scene crawl loading a bounding box ? If you have lots of objects just load all the primitives in and put a bound round them.
