has anyone tried to make a flip source that is ~1cm^2?

I'm trying to work out a little chart to determine Particle Separation/Particle Radius Scale for various source objects and not having much fun…

Do you mean 1cm^3 or a flat one (^2, a grid essentially)?

either…
a grid seems almost impossible, a sphere with a 0.01 radius produces particles…but they're way outside that radius….

imagine you're building something like a kitchen sink tap - the opening is about 1cm…

I'd like to get some working numbers then move up to something like a bottle or glass, then a fire hose etc etc…just to get some presets…

would like to know too how people handle small scale simulations? Do you use greater scale or are there any tips to handle small real size simulations ?

thanks,
