Hi,
Ive got a project where I need to do a cloth/organic tissue sim on top of existing animation. Is there a way to influence the amount of animation on a sim. In other words, can I make a sim only happen around certain points while allowing the animation to drive some of the motion. I attempted to find a way of painting colour on the mesh between black and white as influence but I cannot figure out how to make that idea work.
I have also attempted using cloth attach constraints using the animation and the same geometry but all that ends up doing is crashing Houdini.
Any help would be great. This project can be done with either FEM organic tissue or cloth. Either way I cannot currently figure out how to only sim certain parts of the animated mesh.
Thanks.
