Can someone from Side Effects provide those of us effected with some guidance on what we should do?

If that doesn't work, then yes you will need to contact support AT sidefx.com to have them delete the bad keys from the license database itself.

I saw that but since it came before silvina's post about fixing the problem I thought maybe they were still working on a bulk solution rather than having each person bother you individually. Also I didn't realize you were a Side Effects employee.

In any event, thanks for clarifying what you want us to do.

When installing Houdini, there are “Cases” you need to “Check”, one of them says this:

Local Licensing:

Enables Local Licensing for Houdini. This option configures
Houdini for use with a “Non-Commercial Apprentice” License or limited-commercial Indie licenses.
