Hey Guys,

i'm new at houdini and it's really awesome.
I've started this tutorial which looks nice-

But when he starts to customize the fireball shader i have some problems.
THe shader looks totally different now. Can somebody explain me how i'll get this result?
And why looks his viewport shading better then mine? I've set the viewport shading to high quality shading with shadows but it looks different.
Also the smoke looks better in the first rendering Q.Q

Why guys? .___.

Please help a newbie

Not all viewports are created equal. You should list your hardware specs in your signature.

Does it look ok when you render?
Using Houdini Indie 20.0

Hm but it's not only the viewport. the shader is not the same like before. i've started with 15 and i think many think look now a bit diffrent like before.

not exactly like the tutorial, but looks pretty decent

note: this is not using the latest pyro shader that has attenuation
