I am practicing on 3 product modeling inside houdini.
But faced some problem with extrude polygon tool. If i don't want any extrusion, want only inset- there facing problem.

and another with boolean process. some faces are going invisible and making gap. also creating some unwanted faces. can not create bevel at the join or extract edge. (expect some kind of mesh fusion type like modo in future).

if any solution are there please tell me. waiting for a solution.

thanks

I got a lot out of this tutorial on modeling inside of Houdini.
Perhaps there are some techniques in there to help you?

There are quite a few little tricks demonstrated that you might not think of.

i am just a designer, i am looking for a comfortable way to make model. anybody can help me about boolean process (like mesh fusion like modo).
may i increase subdivision level to avoid problem?

and is there any provision to make a round shape from a point? (like chamfer vertices) ?

thanks

got a way for chamfer vertices with polybevel. why this SOP called polybevel?
