Hello!
I was wondering if anyone could help? I've tracked some footage and modeled the ground Geo for it in Maya before bringing it into Houdini… The ground is very curved and it has a small down hill but my simulation doesn't seem to follow it? It collides with the walls but it won't flow downwards and I've noticed that this may have something to do with the ground plane that was needed when creating the fluid.
Is there anyway to fix this so it follows my mesh rather than just the ground plane.
I have attached some images to show what I mean about it not following my ground.
Thanks,
Mel.

Hey Melissa,
I am assuming you already have Gravity on in your sim.
If so, I would add Normals to the ground, bring that into a Point Vop and do a cross product to get them point in the direction of the ground. After that you can either convert Normal into Vel and read it into the DOP or use the Normal direction inside DOP itself to affect your simulation.
Good luck!
