Hi there,

Psyop made their Cryptomatte publicly available. A great solution to the problem of rendering out mattes of objects for compositing.

I'd love for this to be implemented in Mantra.

Tested HtoA implementation and besides objectID everything works as it should.

I checked the papers, should not be hard to make pass through filter that would take object name, material name and ideally custom string attribute (for us using alembic node with path attribute) and feed it into cryptomatte.

How did you get this to work? I added the AOVs:



And the passthrough in the SHOP:



But I can't get it to show up in Nuke…
