When you go to buy/renew it gives the option ( before you actually purchase ) of when you want the new license to start.
The caveat with that is you only have a 7 day span from the time of purchase.
So best bet is to keep a record of you expiration and purchase within last 7 days.
On a side note, I use the printf function a fair bit when writting in wrangles and as my expiration date was nearing I was getting notice of this fact popping up in that console window.
From others on this post, I gather it was only because I was using the console that I got the message, otherwise I might not have seen it.
Probably might be a good rfe to have some kind of option in preferences that gives a ‘notice’ when one starts Houdini as to license is about to expire; perhaps with choice of how often and when those notices start.

No Option to set start date, when buy/renew.
2 of my 3 license expires today. I have been trying to buy/renew for a week. There are not options and I get the following error.
“Houdini Indie has a maximum limit available for purchase online. Please decrease your quantity or contact sales@sidefx.com”
