Loving the new RBD Material Fracture. I'd like to use it to shatter a hollow model shell but I can't find a way to get rid of interior surface chunks.

I attached a torus shell to show what I'm after (and the issue).

Is there an attribute that can be processed to achieve this?

Hoping this is possible as the new fracture looks better than the previous Voronoi approach and is noticeably faster/more stable than the boolean approach.

Thanks!

I'd suggest submitting an RFE - Voronoi Fracture (which is used internally) does have an option to disable creating inside surfaces, but the new Boolean Fracture SOP (which is used by some of the fracturing methods) doesn't have that option yet

In the new Material Fracture - if you switch the mode to custom, it gives you an option to switch to "Surface" from a solid, which gives you the shell-like body.
