I am using Houdini's HDA in UE4. and, parameter change doesn't cook until the mouse button is released. is there any way to fix this. in UE4 I didn't find any setting that can help may be in Houdini some setting I can tweak to get what I want.

Hi,

I think you're referring to the parameters sliders… if so, then that's expected.
Cooking/creating meshes while dragging the slider would result in slowdowns while unreal generates the meshes, and would make using the sliders very difficult.

We changed that on purpose so that cooks only happens when the slider is released.

thanks for quick reply, I understand that things on UE4 will get very difficult and slow. I asking for learning purpose, can I do it or not? do I have the option to choose? if yes then, how??
