Hey Guys
I built a new machine and downloaded and installed Houdini 18.0.460 on my rig. When I launch the editor and create anything, say a sphere, it freezes for a few seconds then shuts down. with no error messages.
Build spec:
Ryzen 3950x
asus rog 570 F
corsair vengance lpx 64gb (2x32) DDR4 3400
RTX 2080ti
Firecuda 510 gaming ssd (M.2 NVMe)
Everything is on stock so not sure what to do.. and sorry if this issue has come up before only one I can find was one about disabling the Core performance boost which i have done.
Any help would be greatly appreciated
Thanks
Houdini shuts down for no clear reason

It does sound like it might be a hardware issue. Sometimes new machines need to “burn” in. Does your machine pass the Prime95 test?
