Dang, everyones submission today has just been wicked good! Lots of fun and inspiring renditions, it puts a smile on my face.
Today for me didn't go great, but here's a playblast of an attempt to a rain puddle flip simulation.
Flip is just so hard to get decent in these small scale scenarios, not even mentioning all the collision problems…
But I guess that's the thing, some tests are destined to fail.
Another day, another test
(sorry the gif has artifacts)

I'm not the best with SOPs so I tried to focus on that today.
I ran out of time to focus on the rendering and look dev but I think the point will get across.

A wave movie featuring… the return of the hat!
Apparently if my computer runs out of memory, it will just shut itself right down. I didn't think this was a thing with modern operating systems any more… ; - )
For this I used the hat, now a parentable Digital Asset, the Small Ocean, and for added poignancy a lifering in the classic style. This scene also features a better attempt at a cyclorama (where I finally got to dig into VEXpressions to make the UV's behave), but you can hardly see it… Texture maps quickly hacked together in openCanvas.
