how to fix an Open CL issue ?

hi guys

i'm doing some water simulation. a ship using a narrowband.
i've cached out my flip sim, put a surface on it and cached it again.

now i want to do the white water. so i pluged the cache in the volume source and into the whitewaterobject.
then i hit the save to disk.

works well for a couple of frames, then got the OpenCL Exception: clEnqueueNDRangeKernel (-4) and it stops

so, to me, it looks like a open cl problem. i deactivated the gpu in preferences/misc and put it on cpu.

but then, it just freezes and does nothing after 3 frames.



is there a way to do the sim not using the open cl ?
if this has something to do, my flip sim is like 120frames long, and weights 500mb/frame
the 2 frames of whitewater it solved are also this kind of seize.
my machine is 5years old. an i7 4790, 32gbram and a gtx970.

how do i solve this ?
