License issue after re-installing windows.

Hi, I tried to open windows, even though in the license app everything looked fine, I can't open Houdini Indie.
It said something along the lines of: No license can be found.

Now, trying to fix it, I messed something up though, I don't understand why this is an issue, clearly the license server recognizes I have a license.
Anyway, now something changed:

don't forget to name your PC with same name it had before you reinstalled it so that you can "reinstall Server" and licenses
also, Houdini Launcher kinda takes care of those annoyances pretty okay since version H19.5, so give it a go

Not sure I understand, but I am pretty sure the name stayed the same DESKTOP-......., though I wouldn't know how to change it.

settings>system>about> "Device Name", at least that's where it is on win11, something similar is on win10
to check what name you had previously, on sidefx website click on your profile picture, go to "Services" > Licenses https://www.sidefx.com/services/licenses/ [www.sidefx.com] , it will be in the "Server" column

Device name / the server (localhost) name didn't change. Only the server code changes.
In the license app the server name stayed consistent, just the server code is changing.
I just re-installed everything, that didn't help either.

I tried installing a license using the .hlic file.
At the moment it looks fine in the license administrator.
But I still can't launch Houdini Indie.

The support team solved my issue, by sending me a license file.
