Hi

So this week just moved to a new job (yay me) , but one of my first tasks is to get PDQ Deploy working on as many applications as we can....

However, as the title says im having some issues with installing Houdini 19.0.383 ive tried a multitude of switches etc, but what im seeing is that i can see the application in the task manager on the local machine, but it fails to run or install until eventually it times out after the 60 mins.

These are the current parameters im running .

/S /AcceptEula=2020-05-05 /LicenseServer=no /DesktopIcon=No /HQueueServer=No /HQueueClient=No /IndustryFileAssociations=Yes /InstallDir="C:\Program Files\Side Effects Software\Houdini 19.0.383" /MainApp=Yes /Registry=Yes

Ive also tried doing it the .BAT way (have the install information) instead of the .exe but still same result, however, run the BAT file on the local machine and it works....

any help or ideas would be appreciated.....

The required Hserver service might not install with that command. Try adding /HoudiniServer=Yes.

THanks for the response, will give that a go, as trying to roll out the latest version and would be handy to push via PDQ thanks
