I've just installed Unreal 5.1. But I can't find any houdini engine for 5.1, is this in the works or already out and i'm just not able to find it?

As we can see at now moment, there is only for UE 5.0.

I'm yesterday install UE 5.1 and looking forward for HE compatible plugin.
I think, plugin for 5.1 will be come soon, maybe on next week.
For every UE new version it is always need some time for build and tests new version of plugin.
And this "rule" applies not only to the Houdini plugin.

Please note that UE5.1 and UE5.0 use the same source files/branches, the 5.0 sources are also intended to be used with 5.1.

Interesting! Could you give an overview on how you installed from a daily build? I checked all over the github, but didn't see anything about a daily build using the number 454. It does appear that the recent edits claim the issue was fixed. I tried to download and use the current branch 5.0, however I don't know exactly where to go from there.

I'm getting this error when starting up Unreal:

"Plugin 'HoudiniEngine' failed to load because module 'HoudiniEngine' could not be found. Please ensure the plugin is properly installed, otherwise consider disabling the plugin for this project.

I installed the latest daily houdini indie (19.5.458) and houdini indie engine plugin for unreal (same version) yesterday 08DEC22 and the plugin had a 5.1 ready version. installed as per basic instructions with no problems. hope that helps.
