I am trying to use the clone control panel but it is giving me an error:
MESSAGE SEND ERROR(clone1) ws://127.0.0.1:36871/clone Msg='""' Error='"Broken pipe"'
Any tips?

Could you post your OS / license type / version numbers / etc?
Is Karma able to start up okay otherwise? I remember seeing issues with Apprentice limit-resolution and such.

I did try both Karma XPU and CPU.
And yes Karma is working normally in CPU and XPU on normal renders.

I'm sorry, I have not seen this myself. And nobody else is chiming in here so I assume it's not a terribly common problem. That's going to make it tough to track down...
By the IP address I'm assuming this is a local clone you are creating? Have you got any unusual plugins running in Houdini, or is this basically a vanilla installation?

I am using Labs, qlib and MOPs nothing too unusual.
The thing is that it seems I need to point exactly the node I am rendering then it works but if I just point to the stage sometimes it works sometimes it does not but it is hard to pinpoint exactly what the problem is when the log jus says "Operatin Canceled".
I will keep my eyes to see if I got any more unusual behavior.
