I'm trying to use the UVs on a mesh to "project" mesh detail onto the surface. I've tried with primuv/xyzdist and with uvsample but for some reason some of the mesh gets projected perfectly and some is a mess. Would appreciate if someone could take a look at my file and tell me if I'm making a silly mistake!
