Hello. First of all, I want to thank Max Rose and CGI Nerd for the APEX tutorials and Bogdan Lazar for the inspiration. I encountered a problem when using APEX Autorig Component in smootnik mode on legs - when activated, the character’s legs turn inward (works well with hands btw). I see that the joints change the transform, but I can't figure out how to avoid it. Changing the skeleton transforms does not help solve the problem.

Before LegIK:

After LegIK:

Please, if someone can explain how to avoid this error, I will be grateful

Offhand, it's pretty hard to tell from images alone, could you post your hip file?

Hi, so there are a couple of things that needed to be addressed. The most important is the orientation of the joints, In your example I have reverted the skeleton to the original orientations, this seems to work.
Second, You will need a slight bend in the knee in order for the ik solver to set an initial direction of the bend, if you are using a completely straight leg it will result in the leg possibly facing backwards.

Another thing to note, is that if you want to add joints to the guides to make sure that their transform attribs are set up.

Hope this helps

Hi, so there are a couple of things that needed to be addressed...

Hi again, just wondering where did you get this Attribute Adjust Array node?
Because in my 20 prod i don't have it... I just saw that on H20.5 keynote video...

Thanx for all the work! And really glad to see Houdini gets more love in rigging!
Cheers!
