Will Houdini 20.5 Karma XPU will work with Silicon Mac, like Mine Mac Studio Ultra M2 ?

The CPU engine of Karma XPU already works on Apple Silicon. The GPU engine still requires CUDA for 20.5.

while we are on Apple Silicon

What is the situation with opencl on macOS when it comes to performance of the mpm solver for instance?
Are there any plans to natively support metal in the future / would it make sense?
