I'm trying to achieve a more procedural method of placing points on non planar, non-uniform, and non-symmetrical surfaces. My current approach involves creating an l-system, matching the size and axis to a group of primitives I want to project on to, and then using the ray sop to project those points. While this method somewhat works, I encounter issues where some points miss the object.

The tutorials and posts I've tried to reference mostly so far have been the following
How I Made Wine Glasses from Sunflowers

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
