Is Karma pixel filtering working?
I am trying to render a Depth pass without anti alias and it is not making a difference change the filters.
I am using build 368.

Not all of the filters are implemented yet.

I presume you're attempting to use the "Disable Edge Antialiasing" option, which sets the filter to ? As indicated in the documentation, the edge mode is one of the filters that is not currently implemented. I am not sure what the fallback value is, but it's probably the default of zmin.

Thanks for the feedback!
Is there anyway to get a Depth pass without anti alias I have tried all the options and nothing seem to work.

So I can not use Karma to generate depth pass without anti-alias then, that is very limited for a "full production" render.

To be fair it kind of works on Karma CPU.

I just came out of a meeting with the rendering folks, and they said that the pixel filters aren't implemented in Karma XPU at all. But do note that XPU is still beta. Karma CPU behaves as described in the docs—you can specify a non-antialiased depth AOV using your choice of the min or max sample at each pixel. Edge mode appears to fall back to Average.

I'll submit a ticket to have the docs updated to indicate that XPU does not support the pixel filters at this time.

Thanks for the feedback.
I am using CPU for technical passes like aliased Depth and Cryptomate and with XPU primarily when I can use it for everything else.
I can't wait to have all these features working.

This is awesome!
Now, since you mentioned I need to ask if you can give us a hint of how long until we some news of a sneak peak 😁

Currently I am struggeling to get an aliased depth pass (AOV) with an antialiased beauty. What is the workflow for that in XPU?
