the imporant thing is to have your uvs on the first uv tile if you want to work in cops . So for me the best way i found is to iterate the uv tiles per frame and do the same thing for the export.

Very cool but how to preview it while working on the texture?

Thanks

Have you found the solution yet? I would love to preview material while in copnet with UDIMS still don't know how

You can use a copernicus Preview Material node.

Have you used UDIMs in the new COPS?

as far as I know there is nothing built in within COPS to see the whole model with its different UDIM textures all in COPS with a preview material node.

This will not work to be able to preview the entirety of the model with UDIMs. You will only be able to see the mesh with UDIMs on the first UV space grid, so UDIM 1.001 or whatever.

I have seen work arounds like the tutorial from 'Inside the Mind' on youtube, which runs the UDIMs through copernicus, then using ROP image outputs to send the textures to 'Stage' however this still only allows you to see the whole model in Solaris after inputting the materials there. Not only that, but the `op:` workflow for textures from COPS to Solaris wouldn't work in this example either.

I would really love a proper UDIM workflow in COPS. I use UDIMs for almost all my important models, also Character Creator 4 uses UDIMS. Cheers!
