hello i~m building a mechanical rig and i was wondering if it is possible to have part uf a usd skel contain instances.
for instance a part of an antenna has bolts and the bolts are instances of a single bolt. Yet everything is skinned correctly and

Point instances no, it would be cool if you could skin and deform a points prim with a connection to an point instances but you cannot currently. For standard instances I'm going to assume no because you would need different skin attributes for the pieces so that removes that possibility if I understand correctly. For rigid rigs Ive been just using animated xforms instead of usdskel.
