Is it possible to assign a shortcut for these icons?

Yes. If you right-click the prim name, and in the menu go to Visibility/Activation, you can Ctrl+Alt+Shift+click on the menu items there to jump to their entry in the Hotkeys editor.

Unfortunately, the commands for on/off are separated so you will need separate hotkeys for each, and probably need some Python if you want a single key to toggle the state.
