Cascadeur's UI and UX are very appealing to me. I think its new MAYA killer. Considering how Houdini's UI isn't improving at all for artists, I’m uncertain which software I should invest my time in?
Houdini has excellent CFX tools (simulation based) and soon robust rigging APEX framework, but really dont care about artists in terms of UI wich helps to sort and narrow streams of data (animation) to handle.
It’s very versatile, except in the UI field xD
Maybe there will be a live link between Houdini and Cascadeur? But using two software solutions isn’t good idea. Ehh hard choices ahead...
But in terms of esthetics and functionality for animation Cascadeur UI scheme is way to go!

One UI decision I liked in UE5.4 is that dropdowns with 3 or less options are now displayed as buttons instead of being hidden in dropdown menus. I don't know if it's a personal preference of mine or if it's also appreciated by more people from a functional point of view.
