It seems that SideFX's policy toward community building has changed.
It seems that SideFX's tolerance for useless forum noise has diminished.

FTFY.

In other words, SideFX doesn't value indie users and doesn't want to hear their opinions.

With all due respect according to my experience this is a huge overstatement.

Also wholly inaccurate, since SideFX staff DO respond to posts from indie users -- even when I was a *complete* beginner I posted a couple of questions, got some helpful advice from other forum users, AND got a reply from a SideFX staffer, which lead to diagnosing what I'd run into as a bug which he or she (it's been a while) filed.

SideFX DEFINITELY takes indie users seriously, even though for obvious reasons, the enterprise users get priority.

That is very clear, because of how much functionality SideFX gives us in the Indie version.

I was just gonna wait for you guys to stop posting on your own after the original question had been answered.

jk - I think we all know that some people just can't stop themselves.
