Hi everyone! I'm new to Houdini and learning the tutorials by ROBERT MAGEE on how to create the effect of smashing a wine glass: https://www.sidefx.com/tutorials/smashing-wine-glass/ [www.sidefx.com]
Although I completed my project following his steps, I ran into a problem. When I render, the color of the wine doesn't show up correctly. I adjusted the settings as follows according to the tutorial(transmission color 0.2, 0, 0), but the wine is still colorless.
When I try to adjust the emission parameters to another color, however it works, but it doesn't give me the same look as the one shown in the tutorial (mine looks unreal). Can anyone help me figure out where the problem is? (I don't know if it's caused by different versions, like a changed default setting? I'm using 20.5 and the tutorial is 19.5) Thanks a lot!
Wine is not rendering correctly

The first screenshot shows that you're using XPU with Principle Shader. Karma CPU works with both Principal Shader and MaterialX, while Karma XPU works with MaterialX only. Houdini is doing some basic conversion from Principal Shader to MaterialX in the background, but you shouldn't rely on it, as it leads to unexpected results.
