Houdiniをインストールした直後は問題なく起動できていたのですが、数日経って起動しようとすると下記エラーが発生して起動できなくなりました。
一度アンインストールし、再度インストールし直した時も、始めは起動が出来るのですが、間を空けると同様のエラーが発生して起動できなくなります。

My Documents 以下にある houdini19.5 というディレクトリを別名にして Houdini を再度起動してみて下さい。
これで起動できれば、初期設定ファイルの中に何かエラーがあるということになります。
起動できたら、 こちらの要領で診断情報を出力してみてください。

提案していただいた方法を試してみましたが同じエラーが発生し、再起動をしても改善されないのでどうしたものかと悩んでおりましたが
数日経った今日改めてHoudini19.5を起動すると問題なく起動出来るようになっていました。
依然根本の原因は不明ですが一先ずこのまま使用していきたいと思います。
