I am on Fedora 41 KDE plasma . Houdini on Wayland crashes non stop. Also I couldn`t manage to configure my wacom tablet pen buttons. I just want to switch right click with left click
. So now I go back to X11 then Houdini is ok and I can switch wacom pen buttons.
Now I have dual monitor issues. My laptop is 1080p and my second monitor is 4K. Dual monitor resolution setup doesn`t work and it is annoying. But I think it is the lesser evil and it is easier to manage so I stayed on X11 for now.

i've contacted the suport team end they said
it's X11 for us until houdini 21 comes around
Our developers have told me that we are planning on adding support for Wayland in the future. Our plan is to enable Wayland support in the Qt 6 build but only in the Houdini 21.0 release. I don't believe we will enable it in Houdini 20.5.

20.5.473 qt6
It was same to me couldn't have it up for longer then couple minutes. Now it is not crashing. Still some bugs around some tooltips and similar, didn't get to play too much to discover more but still more stable then before for sure.
EDIT: I was a bit hasty on this one.. still crashing same as before so ignore optimism please

So.. linux peple,, how do to you deal with this issue?
Back on windows? Stuck on any non Wayland distro left, rocky or similar...
I've got back to windows but hating it every day.. death by thousand microsoft cuts
Managed to install X11 again but seems like xinput command is no longer available and cannot be installed, without it my cintiq is unusable now as well... under Wayland cintiq support is surprisingly great now.
Suffering slowly on windows at the moment ...
