Hi! I recently installed Houdini on Linux (PopOS). I have both Windows and Linux on the same PC but on different disks. I've noticed a significant time difference between the two operating systems. It takes longer on Linux than on Windows, but not in rendering a single frame, rather in the time it takes to transition from one frame to the next. I have two Nvidia cards, a 3080 Ti and a 3080. I thought it could be the difference in write speed between the NVMe disks, but I've already tested it, and the write speed is similar between the two disks.
If anyone has any idea of what could be happening, I would be infinitely grateful. Thank you in advance

I see linu xfaster then windows as well. Just last night I had machines on wondwos and one on linux taht was rendering 5 frames in 10minutes and windwos machines rendered 5 frames in 15 minutes, all machines are 2x4090
Reisntalled linux on thoes machiens and got also 4-5 minutes faster rendering on that task of 5 frames. And overall linux feels stable and faster.. Just that X11 and Wayland issue problem taht is runing things at the moment...
