I'm struggling with project where water will flow on white surface and it looks too dark when it catches shadow.
Both meshes have "mtlxstandard_surface" materials with Karma XPU renderer.
Water has ior 1.33.
washbasin has standard surface with specular roughness 0.1 and the washbasin has to be white.
I tried to "enable caustics" and play with it in "karmarendersettings", but it doesn't help much.
reflection limit at 30
refraction limit at 30

I tried to use "lightlinker" node to apply lights and HDR on water surface only, but it didn't help much.
I tried to make water mesh intersect with wash basin surface, then "boolean substract" so it doesn't touch the surface and also node which which wraps on nearest surface so it will be minimal distance between surface and results are pretty much the same.
I'm using Indie limited commercial 20.5.410 version.
Any tips and tricks to avoid dark grayish water?
