3delight 7 and houdini

Hi ,

I have installed the 3delight 7 version and gave it a try with houdini . The renderer started with i-play and respond well to the pixel sampling changes . However i could not have any textures rendered on my objects . Is there anything wrong ?

I did not create any OTL , just indicate where is the renderer in the 3delight tab .

Did you asign the correct shader to your object?
(RSL shader).

I used renderman shader , but i could not see it on the shader pane .

In your environment variables, you might want to set

HOUDINI_DEFAULT_RIB_RENDERER = 3Delight6.5

Yes, I know you're running 3Delight 7.0, but Houdini doesn't have settings for that yet.

However, by setting this variable, Houdini knows that you're intending to use 3delight instead of prman or air.

Hi ,

Sorry guys i was out for a while . I tried it but no changes . I think that ‘s has something to do with OTLs , but i don’t know how to get to that . On adforce there's a tutorial on how to use scripts to do it . It's complicated for me . Thanks .
