Just in case you hadn't noticed there are a new set of videos, Surface Operations.
I called them this because they cover some of the Sops (surface operations).
Nothing earth shattering here, just some of the basics of these particular sops.

Any chance of doing tutorials for SHOPS? I have a really hard time wrapping my head around shaders in Houdini–albeit I am still fairly new to 3d in general.

There is a pretty good SHOP tutorial on 3DBuzz … it's from their older video tutorials and from what I can tell is strictly streaming now, but still useful.

Look for them Under the “Effects (v6.1)” section.
