I'm not sure if anyone else is having this issue or not but when I bring up the textport or the expression editor my cursor has to be within the window for me to be able type. In other words if the cursor isn't within the expression editor window it won't type.
Not only that by when Houdini is trying to guess what I'm typing and the mouse cursor just happens to fall within the list then I'm unable to continue typing. I have to have the cursor within the window but down by a corner.
Is this an issue for anyone else or is this standard?

Hi,
It is standard. Think of it as a mouse focusing window system where your cursor has to be over the window to activate it.
It's certainly annoying at times when the pop-up steals the focus. If you script a lot, you might want to turn off the pop-ups completely so you won't have the issue or make sure your mouse cursor is above the line.
Cheers!
