Does anyone have an ideas to render a scense in dos command ?
I want to render my scense through a batch file without launch houdini ?
something like csh file in UNIX .

Hi Winnie,
Please go to Start -> Programs -> Side Effects Software -> Command Line Tools & it will start a command shell with the Houdini environment initialized.
Here's an example:
hrender -e -d name_of_rop -f 1 100 -i 1 hip_filename.hip
The above assumes the ROP is set up correctly for the render.
Type hrender in the shell for more information on how to use the command.

hrender on Windows requires that you run “csh -l” after starting command line tools. If that doesn't work, it probably also requires some of the cygwin tools. To do that, I wrote detailed instructions in a post for this thread:
