i don't have any errors here but the render is strange. but the reason is there are 4 lights in the scene and the only object in the scene , that could be illuminated is the geometry source of one geo light, that is on the exact same place. ad some other objects and hide the geolight source geometry or don;t render the light geometry
hope it helps

Thanks very much for checking the file.
I have the same number of light including the geo light in the other scene.
I can clearly see the animated obj is lid and can be brighter as i crank up the intensity of the geo light in the scene view port.
But, when i render it i do not see the obj is lid up and the brightness of the obj is not controlled by the intensity of the geo light.
With or without the geo light i have the same rendered image.
But, I do see the big difference in this case only in the view port.
Even with the geo light, after i render it, i do not see any difference in brightness of the obj as i crank up and down the intensity of the geo light.
Can you help me please?

Hi, aplink!
Perhaps I'm wrong but I can't see any problems. If you want to control brightness of geolight you will need to tune the intensity of light. Also I can see that you want to illuminate the object which you use for geolight and your object looks very dark. I can explain this phenomen. It's simple. Your object does not get enough samples of geolight because this object is too close to the geolight. You can create copy of object and then you should reduce the scale of the object. You will see that your object looks more bright.

Hi,
I did make a copy of the obj and scaled much smaller.
Now, I can see some type of illumination but quite rough, meaning a lot of bright dots or noise dots on the obj, not smooth surface.
How can i make it smooth illumination, like neon sign tube.
Like the same lid or illuminated obj in the example scene at sidefx.com introducing H11 geo light. (tumbling and rolling obj on the stair case)
I did adjust light intensity and sampling quality, but no difference at all.
Can you help me further please?

Thank you very much.
I checked your Hip file.
I do not see any good difference in between with geo light and without geo lgt (just having area lgt).
I also noticed that if i use different material, such as clay or basic material, instead of constant, I can not make the obj solid and smoothly lid by geo lgt.
I tweaked many different options, such as open gl base color and emitted colors and so on. I still can not make my obj like a neon sign tube color.
Can you further help me please?
Thank you very much again.
