Houdini Indie and Apprentice » Can you see what has an attribute value locked in the proper

So deleting the channel would be the right way to deal with that then? That is what I have been doing.

Is there a way to find out what an attribute is tied to? This happens to me once in a while where a field in the property window turns kind of an aqua color and I can no longer change the value. Clicking to show expressions does nothing but continue to show the value, and there are no keyframes on the node. Below is an example.
It is easy enough to remove by deleting the channel, but it would be nice to know what is controlling it.

Technical Discussion » Is it possible to disable an individual DOP network
- AlphaJoe

I have a scene I am working on that has multiple DOP networks at the root of the /obj context. Is it possible to disable these DOP's on an individual basis? The sims are pretty heavy and it is a hassle if I have to change a setting on one of the sims and it forces a reset on all of them. It would speed things up if I could disable the other DOP networks so that the sim would only run on the one I am working on.

AlphaJoeEsteban DiaconoI am looking for the same thing. I don't know enough about how the narrow band is constructed to know what to change to get the old flip tank back.
Hello. Probably off subject, but I'm trying to simulate the sinking of an object in a tank, and can't find a proper or clean way to disable the Narrow Band sim. Any tips? Thanks.
Oop, nevermind, I found it. When you use the shelf tool it creates a narrow band tank. Just go to the flip object in the AutoDopNetwork, and under the Initial Data tab change it from narrow band to Particle Field. It should then give you the old flip tank setup.

I just wanted to check back on this. I logged a bug regarding the retina display issues, but they said they knew it was a problem and that they were working on it. Has anyone heard anything new on this?
It is enough of an issue that I am not moving to 15 until it is resolved. I cannot move windows between monitors because it corrupts the interface as soon as I cross from one monitor to the other. I also cannot do training presentations because the projector is obviously not retina, and as soon as I plug in to the projector the interface turns to garbage.

There was a problem with the download server this weekend and the downloads got corrupted. It supposedly just got fixed, so try downloading the installer again.

Out of curiosity did this get resolved? I am having this problem as well. Any Houdini window I drag to my (non-retina) secondary monitor changes resolution of the interface and makes it unusable. I am certain that it has to do with the high DPI of the retina display, but this problem just started with 15 for me. 14 works fine from monitor to monitor.
I am currently running a new MBP running 10.10.5, with a 27" Cinema Display as my secondary monitor. I am also Running 15.0.244.16 of Houdini, but I am downloading 15.0.347 right now to see if there is a resolution to the problem in that build.

I forgot my password for the Houdini Online Services, but the password reset is not sending me the reset email. I have been waiting for about a half hour. Is something up with the license site?

I am having this exact same problem. Did you find what was wrong? I had created a flip tank and added a source volume to disturb the points and create some waves. When I render, the surface doesn't show up, but it is visible in the 3D view.
