Houdini Indie and Apprentice » COLLSION NOT WORKING ON IMPORTED .obj IN HOUDINI APPRENTICE

Hi,
I created a Pyro sim and then I have imported a .obj model into Apprentice 18.0…I tried to turn it into a static object to react with a Pyro sim. No collision is happening. Is there a limitation on the Apprentice version or am I overlooking something? I have only tried applying a static object shelf tool to the object but the fire won't collide with it.
Thanks!

Thanks for the replies, fellas…
It was cached.
Tomas, thank you. I did find that button this morning, in fact. LOL. Oops! Sometimes I overlook the most obvious in an effort to be clever.
Thanks, again for the replies, gentlemen. I think this matter is closed.

Houdini Indie and Apprentice » HOW TO RESUME RENDER AFTER CRASH WITHOUT OVERWRITING FRAMES

Hi,
My render was interrupted and I want to know how to resume rendering without overwriting the completed frames. I noticed the expression in the mantra node ($FSTART). Is there an expression I can use to resume render at the point of the last completed frame?
I manually changed the frame number on the Mantra node and it seemed to work but I wanted to render in the background and I wasn't sure if I could do that without changing the expression.
Thanks.
Sean

I am using the apprentice version of 17 and I want to know if it is possible to export Rubber Toy with the texture map it uses by default. I have been able to export the geo as a .obj file but without materials applied. I am very new to texture baking and all that stuff. Any advice would be most appreciated.
Houdini Indie and Apprentice » HOUDINI 17 APPRENTICE: OCEAN NOT RECOGNIZING DISPLACEMENT MAP WHEN USING ENVIRONMENT MAP FOR LIGHTING

Hey,
When I use an environment map to light my ocean the surface renders flat as if the displacement map isn't being recognized. The ocean renders fine if I simply add the small ocean and hit render but when I add an HDRI or any other light to the scene the ocean renders flat like a mirror. Any clue as to what I am doing wrong?
Thanks!

I know this is going to sound very stupid but I cannot figure how to set the output directory for rendering. Any assistance will be most appreciated.
