Hi,

I am getting following info when generating photon map:
mantra: Aborting photon generation due to an extremely low photon storage ratio. Try using a more accurate photon target.

Obviously I can't change a target, what can I do than?

thanks

czesc Kubo,
there are number of reasons your photons aren't saved. Bad surface definition, light that is placed too far, obstacles, too less photons emitted for a given scene's units. As you know you can visualize photons. Check what is going on with them. Sometime simply replacing light was helping me in the same problem.

cheers,
sy.

PS
Photons behaviors are now controlled via physical properties of a shader. Not photon shader as before. Maybe there is something wrong with your F variable?

PS2 Have you managed your challenge with attributes remapping? I sent you some tips…

Czesc SY,

Thanks for the info, and for the script. Unfortunately, I didn't have time to test it yet, but I will get back to it very soon once I get to optimizing some stuff…

There's some discussion of this error and other photon stuff at:
