hmmm for some reason when I have object networks inside of COPs and cameras within those I can't seem to select the camera from the view pane list. Is this a bug or is there a preference somewhere?

Camera in other embedded networks aren't listed neither.

This is a bug. It is expected that cameras from other embedded object networks will not appear, but any cameras in the current object network should.
