"Trackball" style view rotation

Hiya,

After working in Lightwave for several years I've become very used to the “trackball” style of rotating in the viewport. The result is that out of habit I end up cocking the Houdini view way out of line when I rotate it. It doesn't behave as I expect…

Is there some way to make Houdini use the Trackball style of rotation instead of this “tumble” thing?

Well there's 3 viewport tumbling styles to pick from, I'm not sure if any of them are a close match for LW, but try them out. They are in settings->main preferences->3D viewports

Thanks for the quick reply :-) Though I'm sorry to report that none of them really duplicate Lightwave's rotation scheme. I will just have to get used to the Standard Houdini mode, then.
