I'm not sure if it's feature or bug

But .. (for eg. in Houdini python shell) when I type “hou.”, context menu will appear with help and list of available commands - that's cool but very often I cannot type anything further, until I press RMB on python shell or parameter (like it was waiting until I choose something from this menu) and that is REALLY annoying (even if my mouse is not over that menu).

yep same here, its anoying

add the problem with {, }, , #, $, etc, keys on non english keyboards.
