Is it possible to export an .avi file of your animations?

I can't seem to figure it out.

I have my animation complete, I just need it to export to .avi.

Hi,my friend,you will find the answer in the tutorial about Mantra of DT.

first run the animation in MPlay,then in Houdini: windows—>shell, you will see the “cmd.exe”.next,you can use “mcp” to generate a *.avi file.

Render your animation in mplay, then use export menu. No shells.

In Linux works like a charm using mplayer option.

If you don't see this option, install mplayer.
